 Planning Unit
 
   

The major functions of the Planning Unit of the Ministry of Law are

  • - To prepare and formulation the new projects for the Legal and Justice Sector of Bangladesh,
  • - To monitor the ongoing project implementation,
  • - To coordinate between the various Ministries and Agency,
  • - To prepare the Annual Development Programme, and other policy papers related to the Ministry of Law.
    •  PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN BY THE MINISTRY OF LAW :

           The Ministry of Law has undertaken following projects in order to bring qualitative changes in the legal and judicial sector of the Country.

    A. Investment Projects:
  • Legal and Judicial Capacity Building Project
  • Construction of Multi-Storied Building at the Premises of Supreme Court to Accommodate Offices of Attorney General and Solicitor
  • Construction/ Reconstruction of Sub-Registrar's Office and District Registrar's Office in some Districts of the Country

    • B. Technical Assistance Projects:
  • Access to Justice and Human Rights in Bangladesh.
  • Codification, Publication and Translation of Laws Project.
